Even if the water pump is functioning, the engine can still overheat due to other problems such as a clogged radiator, a broken thermostat, o r low coolant levels. Its also possible that the pump isnt circulating coolant effectively due to internal wear o r damage, which can cause uneven heat distribution in the engine.

If your Suzuki Cultus is overheating despite the water pump seeming to function normally, there are several possible causes:
Low Coolant Levels: If the coolant is low, even a working water pump cannot circulate enough coolant to prevent the engine from overheating. Check for coolant leaks and ensure the coolant level is maintained.
Clogged Radiator o r Cooling System: Over time, debris, rust, o r sludge can accumulate in the radiator, restricting coolant flow. This causes inefficient heat dissipation, even if the water pump is circulating coolant.
Faulty Thermostat: A malfunctioning thermostat can get stuck in the closed position, preventing coolant from flowing to the engine and causing overheating.
Broken Hoses o r Leaks: Leaking o r cracked hoses can prevent the proper flow of coolant, affecting the overall cooling system efficiency.
