Why is my Suzuki Cultus water pump not circulating coolant properly?

If the water pump is not circulating coolant effectively, the problem might be:

Worn-out Impeller: The impeller inside the water pump is responsible for moving coolant through the engine. If the impeller becomes damaged o r worn out, it can reduce o r completely halt the coolant flow. A worn impeller typically occurs due to age o r debris in the coolant.

Clogged Water Pump Passages: If the water pump passages get clogged with debris, rust, o r sludge, coolant cannot flow through the pump properly. This can prevent the coolant from circulating through the engine, leading to overheating.

Damaged Pump Shaft: The water pump shaft connects the impeller to the engine. If the shaft is damaged o r has too much play, the impeller may not turn effectively, which can lead to insufficient coolant circulation.

In this case, the water pump should be inspected for internal damage, and if necessary, replaced to restore proper coolant circulation and prevent engine damage due to overheating.
