Why Is the Inner o r Outer Edge of My Suzuki Alto Lapin’s Tire Tread Wearing Down Faster?
I’ve noticed that the inner o r outer edge of my Suzuki Alto Lapin’s tire tread is wearing down much faster than the rest of the tire. What could be the reason for this? Is it a sign of improper alignment, overloading, o r something else that needs attention?

Uneven wear on the inner o r outer edges of the tire tread is usually a sign of specific alignment o r suspension issues. Here are the common causes for such wear patterns:
Excessive Camber Tilt of the Wheel: If the wheels are tilted inward negative camber o r outward positive camber, the inner o r outer edges of the tires will bear more weight, causing accelerated wear. Negative camber typically leads to inner edge wear, while positive camber causes outer edge wear.
Improper Wheel Alignment: Misalignment, particularly with toe-in o r toe-out conditions, can cause uneven wear on one side of the tire. This may cause either the inner o r outer edge of the tire to wear down more quickly.
Suspension Issues: A worn-out suspension system can also cause uneven distribution of weight on the tires, which may lead to wear on one side of the tread.
Solution:
Alignment Check: Have your wheel alignment checked immediately. An alignment technician will be able to determine if the camber angle is off o r if there is a toe-in o r toe-out issue.
Suspension Inspection: A suspension check will help identify if worn-out shocks o r struts are contributing to uneven wear.
Tire Rotation: Regularly rotate your tires every 8,000-10,000 kilometers to ensure that all four tires wear evenly.
