Woofer and amplifier wiring ohm help please

i am currently having a 306c tht is single coil nd a pro audio bank tht is 4 channled
i dnt know abt systems alot neither i knw wiring . i wanto know tht hw cani wire mi woofer into 2 ohms or 4 ohms i mean to say whts the diff . can u please help brothers?

If it's a single coil sub and u only have one, you really have no choice.

Ohms matter if the subs are wired to be too low a resistance that the amp can't handle it and it clips (not good) also some amps provide more power at a lower resistance so people want to wire their subs at a lower resistance, but not lower than what the amp can handle.
Depending in the amp they can handle anywhere as low as 0.5Ohms to 4 Ohms. Most ave class amps should be run at 4 Ohms.
