Quality Checks Need To Be Improved For The Changan Karvaan 2022.
Jan 24 2025The vehicle has an appealing exterior, which is a major factor in its popularity. The suspension performance is commendable, similar to that of the Shehzor.
In terms of the interior, the dashboard, seats, and overall capacity are quite satisfactory. However, it lacks an LCD screen with a rearview camera and speakers at the back.
The fuel average recorded is 12 kmpl with the air conditioning on, which is decent, even on hilly terrain.
Unfortunately, the paint quality is not up to par. An undercoating is highly recommended due to the lightweight body material. There are issues with bubbling and instability when driving over 100 kph.
After-sales service has also been disappointing. I visited to address the bubbling, wheel balancing, and alignment problems, but they were unhelpful and directed me to the place where I purchased the vehicle.
