I’ve been driving the Seres 3 EV CBU since March/April this year and have already covered over 2500 km. There’s really no comparison to vehicles in its class. I’ve previously owned the Sportage and currently drive the Proton X-70, but the quality of this EV far surpasses both. While I can’t comment on the CKD version due to limited availability, the CBU unit stands in a league of its own.
The performance is excellent, even in eco mode, and on long routes, I average around 300-310 km, while in the city, it’s between 330-350 km. Even in the hot climate of Sahiwal, the AC cooling is impressive. The only downside is the charging time, which takes around 13-15 hours with the original 3.5 kWh charger. To address this, I recently purchased an 11 kWh charger from AliExpress, which has reduced the charging time to around 5-6 hours.
In summary, considering the current price range, this vehicle offers excellent value for money with no recurring maintenance costs. As for the Bhera charger, I can’t speak to its availability, but in Lahore, everything is working perfectly.
