Subaru Car Reviews
Budget-Friendly Performance
Jan 30 2025Overall, this car is amazing when it comes to fuel efficiency, despite being a 3-cylinder. The vibration concerns, similar to the Vitz, are a myth—if the car is well-maintained, it performs great.
Merits:
18 km/l average
22 km/l on highways
Eco Idle feature
Alloy rims
Power windows, steering, and mirrors
Problems:
Often used as a Careem/Uber car
Appearance-wise, it may not stand out
Lower ground clearance—passenger weight can affect the ride quality
However, for those who maintain it well, it’s an incredibly fuel-efficient car.

Impressive Fuel Economy
Jan 30 2025The Subaru Pleo 2009 is a great budget car with an excellent fuel average of 17 km/l in the city and 19 km/l on long routes. It’s a 4-cylinder engine, and I’ve traveled on long routes without any overheating issues. The body feels solid compared to other Japanese cars. The only issue I found was the ground clearance, but I solved it by installing 13 alloy rims. In this budget, I consider it a paradise to own!

Subaru Stella 2014 – Better Than Any Other Japanese Car In This Price Range
Jan 29 2025Subaru is undoubtedly the car weve been searching for all these years. I bought a 2014 full-option model last month for just 1.6 million. Only one door had been touched, while everything else was original. There’s a market misconception that this cars market is small, but those who know that Subaru and Daihatsu are both indirectly owned by Toyota will appreciate this car. The rest simply don’t understand its value. This full-option car comes with radar, traction control, airbags, anti-collision features, and ABS. If I were to buy the same car with these options from another brand, it would cost at least 1.7 million. For just one lakh less, I got the same features. I highly recommend this car—it’s a true Japanese gem.

Subaru Stella 2014 – One Of The Best Cars
Jan 29 2025I believe its just a market tactic o r a monopoly that leads to the failure of certain cars, especially when there’s little information available about them. The Subaru Stella 2014 is easily 100% better than the Alto I previously owned. The interior and exterior are top-notch, and the A/C cooling is exceptional. For a budget-friendly car at 15.5 million, it’s an excellent choice. If I were to buy the same car from Daihatsu, it would cost me at least 16.5 million. Here in Pakistan, people focus too much on the engine, while the bodies of all cars are generally the same, but were often misled into thinking genuine is everything. The engine is what truly matters, and this car delivers. The only area for improvement would be the headlight throw, but otherwise, it’s a fantastic car.

Subaru Stella 2014 – A Fantastic Compact Car
Jan 29 2025The Subaru Stella 2014 is an outstanding car! It offers an excellent driving experience, with comfortable sofa-like seats and impressive fuel efficiency, all in a complete package for just 17 lac. Being an original Japanese brand, it has a great suspension system, and the A/C performs really well. It’s actually rebadged as a Daihatsu, originally owned by Toyota. I’m in love with this car and highly recommend it—definitely a must-have!
