Toyota Fortuner Car Reviews
Buying A Car.
Jan 31 2025I’ve loved this car since 2016, when the new Fortuner style was launched, and now the Legender is my dream car. In sha Allah, I’ll buy it soon. However, there are some downsides. First, I saw a video showing that it has an automatic boot feature, where you can swipe your foot under the boot to open it, but that feature isn’t working. Also, the Legender variant is supposed to have wireless charging, but it doesn’t. Lastly, the price is ridiculously high—its not just high, its excessively high.

Disappointing For The Price
Jan 24 2025The Fortuner has a Surf-style body and suspension, and while it shares an engine with the LC Prado series, other aspects like the interior feel more like a Corolla, and the driving experience resembles that of a Toyota Hilux Revo. Its fuel economy is better than the Cygnus but falls short when compared to the LC100 diesel.
For someone with a budget of 20 million, the LC200 is a far superior choice—offering unmatched quality and performance. Personally, I use an LC100 diesel and couldn’t be happier with my decision not to go for the Fortuner, which feels like a compromise adha titar, adha batair.

Falling Short Of Expectations
Jan 24 2025I purchased the 2.7 variant, and overall, it’s been disappointing. The engine lacks power, making the car feel too heavy and sluggish, especially when accelerating. It requires significant effort to pick up speed, and driving in S mode drastically increases fuel consumption. If you’re considering buying one, I’d recommend going for the 6-cylinder variant, but be prepared for even higher fuel consumption. The 2.7 variant doesn’t feel like a strong, capable off-road vehicle at all.

Smooth And Reliable For Long Journeys
Jan 24 2025I absolutely love this car and have been a fan since 2016 when the new Fortuner style was introduced. Now, the Legender has become my dream car, and InshaAllah, I’ll buy it soon. However, it does have a few drawbacks. First, I saw a video showcasing the automatic boot option, where swiping your foot under the boot opens it, but this feature doesn’t seem to work. Additionally, while the Legender variant is supposed to have wireless charging, it’s not included. Lastly, the price is not just high—it’s extremely high, making it difficult to justify.

YEAH ITS GOOD
Jan 13 2025The car offers a smooth ride, even on rocky terrains, and has just enough power to handle hill climbs with ease. However, the rear seats lack comfort, making long trips less enjoyable for passengers in the back. Despite this, the overall driving experience remains solid, especially on challenging roads.
