Toyota Hilux 6th generation Overview

Toyota Hilux 6th Generation initially launched in Pakistan in the year of 1997 with a little facelifted features comparatively to its older generation. This is a front engine four wheel drive truck toned pickup. This generation has 2 body shapes: One cabin shape and double cabin shape. 6th Generation Toyota Hilux have some unique exterior features to its older 5th Generation but the engine power and internal features are revised in this generation. The Toyota Company keep manufacturing this generation for 9 years from 1997 to 2015 and its production halted in the year of 2005. According to the other same class of vehicles available in the market the price of Toyota Hilux 6th Generation is pretty competitive.

Exterior

The Toyota Hilux 6th Generation comes with similar design and exterior features to the Toyota nineties models. The front side of it loaded with rectangular wide chrome grille, a side swept trapezoidal headlamps and a wide larger front bumper with fog lamps. And the rear end contains a standard case tailgate with standing rectangular backlights with a slim rear bumper. It has two body styling single cabin style and double cabin, both of the body style are identical to each other but with only the difference of length of the exterior. The double cab style is slightly longer than the single cab style which accommodates the rear doors. It gives a boxy exterior shape similar to the traditional nineties pick-up trucks

Interior

6th Generation Toyota Hilux comes with a unique interior features and built with light and dark grey plastic trim pieces. Fabric material is used to wrap the seats with the optional leather upholstery. In general features it has power windows, power steering, air conditioning, tachometer, stereo type sound speakers, and power lock doors. By all means it provides a decent interior space but it lacks good level of interior comfort and refinement as a pickup truck is not built identical to sedan car. It provides noise insulation cabin.
