DFSK K01 Overview

The K series of DFSK was introduced in 2015 as a joint venture between Dongfeng Motors and Chongqing Sokon automobile industry. One of the versions in this series is the K01 S, which is a mini-truck imported from China to countries like Pakistan. However, DFSK later signed an agreement with the Engineering Development Board in Pakistan to promote locally produced cars. This initiative led to the assembly of vehicles in Pakistan, making them more affordable. The K01, K07, and C37 were among the three vehicles announced for launch in Pakistan.

Interior

The interior cabin of the DFSK K01 2024 mini-truck provides a comfortable space for the driver and a front passenger. It features amenities such as air conditioning, heating, an ashtray, a glove console, a front door storage pocket, sun visors, and front three-point seat belts. To enhance the driving experience, an AM/FM radio is also provided for entertainment. The cabin is designed with the driver's comfort in mind, as this truck is often used for commercial purposes and requires long-distance driving.

The third engine option is a 1298 ml (1.3 liters) sixteen-valve engine, producing a peak power of 60.5 kW and a maximum torque of 102 Nm. All three engines are paired with a five-speed manual transmission system and offer a rear-wheel-drive option.

The DFSK K01 S mini-truck provides an efficient driving performance with smooth ride quality and precise handling. It features Macpherson axles on the front and leaf spring axles on the rear, contributing to a smooth suspension system and excellent handling. The braking system is also efficient, with disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear, allowing for smooth and comfortable braking. The top speed of the K01 S is 120 kilometers per hour, making it appealing for a commercial loading truck, while the 1298 ml engine variant offers a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
