200 Times Stronger Than Steel Rubber

An American company has invented such a strong rubber with the combination of ‘graphene’ which si not only very elastic but also 200 times stronger than steel. The ‘Alliance Rubber Company’ in Ohio has announced to invent a rubber in collaboration with University of Sussex, UK. Due to the inclusion of grapheme, it is 200 times stronger than steel.

The company says that it will soon start the production of products from this new and world’s strongest rubber. But before that, the most accurate quantity of grapheme in the traditional rubber has to be measured that will be included on commercial basis in order to produce desirable strength in big sheets of rubber.

According to spokesman of ‘Alliance Rubber’, they will take maximum 1 year in this measurement after which they will start industrial production of this rubber.
Since the past one decade, new properties of graphere are coming forward and one among them is its incomparable strength. It is expected that 200 times stronger than steel rubber can be prepared by including grapheme in the normal rubber with correct percentage. This will be used from packaging to un-punctured tyres.
