2024 Citroen e-Berlingo: More Range, New Interior

Citroen introduced the facelifted 2024 e-Berlingo today, signaling its commitment to an all-electric offering in Europe. The electric version boasts a revamped interior with a new dashboard housing a 10-inch touchscreen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Complementing the upgraded digital experience is a new 10-inch color digital instrument cluster, a redesigned steering wheel, and a range of new colors and materials enhancing the vehicle's aesthetic appeal.

Under the hood, the e-Berlingo's motor now generates 100 kW (136 bhp), and its range has seen a substantial 20% increase, reaching 320 km in the WLTP combined cycle. This improvement is attributed to the installation of a new 50 kWh (usable capacity) LFP battery. Charging the vehicle is facilitated by a 7.5-hour duration on a 7.4 kW wallbox or a faster 5-hour option with an optional 11 kW three-phase charger. Notably, the e-Berlingo supports 100 kW DC fast charging, achieving an 80% charge in just 30 minutes.

The e-Berlingo isn't just about performance; it's also designed for versatility. The 7-seater XL version, measuring 4,750 mm in length, offers a completely flat floor with a load length of 2,700 mm for the M version and 3,050 mm for the XL version when the front passenger seat is folded down. The load space ranges from a minimum of 775 liters for the M version with all seats in use to an impressive 4,000 liters when all seats are folded in the XL version.

Introducing a unique feature in its segment, the e-Berlingo boasts Citroen Advanced Comfort seats, incorporating high-quality foam for enhanced comfort. Additionally, the rear window opens independently of the tailgate, facilitating quick loading and unloading of small items. The front of the car has undergone a complete redesign, showcasing Citroen's new logo. It is set to hit European markets in spring 2024, offering five body colors: Kiama Blue, Sirkka Green, Kaolin White, Perla Nera Black, and Steel Grey.
