2024 Proton X70 Facelift Spotted in Malaysia

Proton is gearing up to launch the X70 facelift, with camouflaged test vehicles spotted on Malaysia's roads, signaling the impending arrival of the updated model.

The facelift will primarily focus on changes to the front fascia and rear bumper, as evidenced by the camouflaged sections of the test vehicles. The headlamp shape suggests that the Proton X70 facelift will be based on the 2022 update of its donor model, the Geely Boyue.

However, the Proton X70 facelift will have its own unique features, including a different grille, LED DRLs, and potentially revised rear light signatures. The test vehicles also conceal the wheels, hinting at a new 5-spoke design. While the interior of the X70 facelift remains unseen, it is expected to resemble that of the Geely model.

As the Proton X70 facelift nears its official debut in Malaysia, many customers in Pakistan who pre-ordered their X70 units three years ago are still waiting for delivery.
