Following the DB11's replacement by the DB12, which focused on long-distance refinement, the upcoming DBS replacement is poised to prioritize speed and agility, becoming the flagship model in Aston Martin’s sports car lineup. Interior redesigns for the DBX SUV are also part of the model transformations, featuring a touchscreen multimedia system in 2024.

While the DB12 relies on a Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, the anticipated DBS reincarnation may signal the end of Aston Martin’s beloved 5.2-liter V12. Reports suggest the V12 engine might boast an impressive 596 kW, making it Aston Martin’s most potent internal combustion engine vehicle for the road. A chassis makeover with revised dampers and higher stiffness for improved cornering performance is also expected.

The DBS replacement's design is anticipated to depart from the DB12, drawing inspiration from track-focused models like the DBS 770, Vantage V12, and DBX 707. The brand’s new self-developed cockpit design will feature across Aston Martin's next-generation lineup.
