Atlas Honda Limited (AHL) has recently unveiled an enticing 0% markup installment plan exclusively for MCB Bank credit cardholders. This attractive offer is expected to be applicable to their popular Honda CD70 model.


Declining Sales and Market Challenges

Bike sales in Pakistan have witnessed a sharp decline, as reported by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers’ Association (PAMA). June 2023 saw a significant 15% drop in sales compared to the previous month. Atlas Honda, being the country's leading bike manufacturer, experienced a 14% decrease in sales, with only 75,056 bikes sold.

Factors Impacting the Industry

The exact reasons behind this sales slump have not been disclosed. However, experts point towards potential issues related to import restrictions and production disruptions, which might be affecting bike manufacturers. Some also attribute the downturn to inflated bike prices in the market. Though there are rumors of imports being restored in the auto sector, the industry's recovery is expected to be gradual due to various economic and operational challenges.
