Audi TT Roadster Final Edition Revealed

Audi is preparing to bid adieu to the legendary TT Roadster with the grand unveiling of the Final Edition, marking the poignant conclusion of a remarkable three-generational journey that originally set sail in 1999. This special commemorative edition, exclusive to the United States and limited to a mere 50 units, arrives in an evocative Goodwood Green pearl hue, reminiscent of the initial generation's color palette.

A Tribute to Tradition

The Audi TT Final Edition offers a heartfelt tribute to its roots, embracing the Palomino Brown upholstery with meticulous baseball stitching, an artistic echo of the original model. Furthermore, this limited edition goes the extra mile, introducing exclusive features that set it apart from its TT counterparts.

Sumptuous Interior

Inside the cabin, discerning owners of the Final Edition will be greeted by unique floor mats and an opulent leather package that tastefully drapes the center console and door panels in a lush Palomino Brown. Other interior accents feature carbon-fiber trim, with black leather wrapping the gauge-cluster hood and steering wheel cover, accentuating the sense of luxury.

Distinctive Exterior Elements

The Final Edition TT graces the road on striking silver multispoke 20-inch forged wheels, complemented by adjustable magnetic dampers that harmonize impeccably with the lustrous pearl green finish. Matte gray highlights on the front bumper echo the side skirts and rear bumper, lending an air of exclusivity. With the roadster's roof unfurled, a splendid gray fabric top is unveiled.

Performance and Rich Racing Heritage

Beneath the hood, the TT Roadster houses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, delivering a commanding 228 horsepower and a robust 350 Nm of torque. This powerhouse is elegantly paired with a 7-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive, enabling the TT Roadster to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 5.5 seconds.

An Ode to Racing Legacy

The moniker "TT" pays homage to the illustrious Tourist Trophy, held on the Isle of Man, one of the oldest motorsport events globally. Auto Union brands, NSU, and DKW celebrated remarkable triumphs with their motorcycles at this historic race. NSU later embraced the "TT" nomenclature to commemorate their racing championship on the compact and sporty TT Prinz.

A Legacy of Distinct Design and Innovation

Since Audi's momentous introduction of the TT Coupe in 1998, swiftly followed by the Roadster model a year later, the TT lineage has spanned three generations, with the most recent incarnation taking the stage in 2014. Each successive generation has brought forth unique designs and groundbreaking technological innovations. Notable features have included the electronically deployable rear spoiler, Audi virtual cockpit, and pioneering OLED taillights. The curtains fall on the production of the Audi TT with the 2023 model, drawing the curtain on an iconic chapter in the brand's history, marked by the unmistakable four-ringed emblem.
