Bentley Plans To Launch Its First ElectricVehicle EV in 2025

The Volkswagen Audi Group VAG is planning to bring its vehicles fully electric. The subsidiary of Volkswagen, Bentley has a plan to bring its first electric vehicles EV by 2025.

According to reports, the Bentley’s first EV will be a complete electric SUV. The SUV will be underpinned by the VAG’s Artemic platform. According to CEO, Adrian Hallmark, the project will be collaboration between Audi and Bentley.
CEO further revealed Audi and Bentley will develop modern EVs. He said that the 2025 is a very suitable time for company to achieve the goal for manufacturing Luxury and high end performance electric SUV.

CEO Stated:
“Weight is a concern. But we’re seeing rapid evolution in battery power density, and we’re dedicated to making things lighter and more aerodynamic. And battery-electric vehicles are right for Bentley; quiet, effortless, high torque, refined performance,” Hallmark added.

Hallmark further claimed that although its fast torque and extremely smooth W12 engine are Bentley's crown jewels, a basic model shift is taking place these days, allowing the company to quickly adapt to the new trend.

“The customer mindset is changing; 39 percent of Bentley owners are considering an EV as their next car,” it said.
