Car Prices Reportedly Will Be Reduced In New Auto Policy

The Auto Development Policy 2016-21 is going to expire this year in June 2021. The government of Pakistan is now planning to develop new auto policy for next five years 2022026.

According to media reports, government is thinking to reduce the car prices in new Auto Development Policy ADP 2022-26.

According to the source of Ministry of Industry and Production Pakistan MOIP, in new auto policy the prices of small cars might be reduced to make middle class able to buy a car easily. In this regard, govt is planning to set a maximum price for all small cars i.e. 10 lacs Rupees. If the plan successful, the public will get 4-5 lacs discount on the small cars prices in Pakistan.
