Chery Car Prices Increase March 2023

Chery Pakistan has announced an increase in the prices of their cars, effective from March 21, 2023. The increase is due to the recent currency devaluation that has affected car manufacturers in the country. The new prices of the Chery cars are as follows:

Chery Cars New Prices

• Tiggo 4 Pro: old price Rs. 6,099,000, new price Rs. 6,399,000, difference Rs. +300,000

• Tiggo 8 Pro: old price Rs. 9,299,000, new price Rs. 10,399,000, difference Rs. +1,100,000

This price hike is not limited to Chery only, as other car manufacturers in Pakistan have also increased their car prices in 2023. This has led to concerns among consumers who were planning to purchase new cars.

The devaluation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar is one of the main reasons behind the increase in car prices. The currency devaluation has resulted in higher costs of raw materials and components that are imported from other countries. This, in turn, has forced car manufacturers to increase their prices to maintain their profit margins.
