Electric Vehicles Will Be Launched Soon in Pakistan

Electric Vehicles are atmosphere friendly and the auto industries around the world are manufacturing these vehicles and introducing in the market. The electric vehicles are considered to reduce the global warming as the vehicles running on engine are drastically increasing pollution in the atmosphere. The burning of fossil fuel in the vehicles is increasing the pollution. When the matter comes to electric vehicles these vehicles are powered with an electric battery to generate the power to drive and which does not have any effect on the atmosphere as compared to the vehicles housed with fuel engines.

According to news the economical electric vehicles are to be introduced in the auto industry of Pakistan. As per reports the Advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Minister for Climate Change, Government of Pakistan, Malik Amin Aslam announced to introduce Economical Electric Vehicles in Pakistan. On the approval of new Electric Vehicle EV Policy by the Federal a Cabinet, the electric vehicles will be launched in Pakistan.

The investor of the auto sector in Pakistan are just in wait for the announcement of the Electric Vehicle Policy by the government and expects government will put an eye on their on their investment in this regard. The Federal Minister for Climate Change says that for better investment for auto sector Govt will give the incentives in the new EV policy. The economy would be improved and foreign direct invested is expected due to an attractive policy. The valuable agenda of the EV policy is the manufacturing of electric batteries in Pakistan to bring Pakistan on the international standards. He said:

“Our purpose is to motivate people to use electric vehicles to improve the quality of the air our children breathe in; moreover, the electric vehicles would be economical as well.”

The economical transportation has been the need to travel for work and education in rural areas and electric vehicles can meet all these needs safely. The cities like Lahore have been facing a severe problem of fog in winter season. The basic cause behind this issue is emission of harmful gases from the engines of cars. The government is trying to target those vehicles which are causing serious issue of the environmental pollution. The engine fueled vehicles will be shifted to hybrid o r fully electric vehicles. The minister already said that the mobility will be a big change for big cities of Pakistan. In this way the country will jump to modern world and tourism will be improved.

Additionally, the electric stations will be constructed to charge the electric vehicles on highways and inside the cities, in this way more job opportunities will be produced for local people in Pakistan. The Electric Vehicle policy is an initiative to right direction that will lead the nation to speed up with the rest of world.
