Fresh Non-Hybrid Corolla Cross: Official Specs!

Indus Motor Company (IMC) has introduced the petrol model of its crossover SUV, the Corolla Cross, following the release of the hybrid variant. The non-hybrid Corolla Cross is offered in two versions: 1.8x and 1.8. Today's unveiling of the vehicle comes as a pleasant surprise, marking the expansion of IMC's lineup in Pakistan. Previously, the company exclusively sold completely built-up (CBU) units before launching the locally assembled hybrid Corolla Cross in December 2023. Here are the key specifications and features of both versions of the new non-hybrid Corolla Cross:

Dimensions: The petrol model maintains identical dimensions to the hybrid, measuring 4460mm in length, 1825mm in width, and 1620mm in height. It retains a wheelbase of 2640mm and a ground clearance of 161mm.

Engine and Transmission: Equipped with a 2ZR-FE 1798cc gasoline engine, the new model delivers 138hp at 6400 RPMs and 172 Nm of torque at 4,000 RPMs, paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

Exterior: Both variants feature 17-inch alloy rims with 215/60/R17 tires. The X variant boasts Bi-Beam LED headlights, LED fog lamps, and LED brake lamps, while the base variant offers Halogen headlights and brake lamps. The top variant also includes black roof rails, absent in the base model.

Interior: The top variant offers dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents, a 4.2-inch color Multi Info Display (MID), and a 3-spoke leather steering wheel with additional controls. In contrast, the base variant features single-zone climate control and no rear AC vents, along with a urethane steering wheel. The top variant exclusively offers a moonroof.

Infotainment: The 1.8x variant boasts a 9-inch capacitive display, while the base variant features a 7-inch display. Both include Bluetooth, USB, Wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto Support, among other features.

Safety Features: Both variants are equipped with essential safety features, including ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, 7 airbags, ISOFIX Child Support Anchor, and more.

Colors: Available colors for the petrol model include Red Mica Metallic, Super White, Attitude Black, Celestite Grey, Dark Blue Mica Metallic, and Metal Stream Metallic.
