Govt Plans to Provide “Special Fuel” For Bikes

The inflation is on increase because of the devaluation of Pak rupees against the dollar, which is still increasing day by day without having any stop. The petrol prices are also increased after every 15 days and this practice is still continued, which has shattered the economies of the country. The salaries of the government employees are increased at slow pace and the private employees are equal to none. Govt plans to provide “special fuel” for bikes in order to combat with the inflation.

The fuel prices have increased the worries of the common man and for the bike users, who are facing this issue for long time. The planning commission managed the meeting recently and they decided to introduce the particular fuel for the bike users in order to lessen their financial problems.

In the developing countries, the cars are included in the major petrol consumption category. The bikes consume 40 to 50 % of petrol in the developing country like Pakistan and the government should focus on the bikers.

The High Octane is over RON 90, which is not considered the necessary thing for the bikes and the high-grade petrol producers is considered the expensive process in Pakistan as the refineries are not up-graded here. When we import the manganese-based additives, it increases the cost and the low-profile oil produced at the different oil refineries with low tax rates, they can be fair deal for the middle class customers.

Russia Offers Petrol & Diesel at Low Rates

State Minister for Petroleum, Musaddaq Malik made the announcement that Russia is providing the petrol and diesel to Pakistan at the subsidized rates but he did not share any information regarding this issue. About one month before, the Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar said that the country considers to buy the discounted Russian oil.

The minister talked with media and said that Moscow confirmed the provision of 100,000 barrels per day crude oil supply to Islamabad. The delegation of Russia will visit Islamabad during the month of January to set the terms of this deal along with rate and the model of the payment.
