Honda Civic 11th Generation First Unit In Pakistan

The Honda Civic 11th Generation made its official debut in the global auto markets in April 2021 after a success of 10th generation of Honda Civic. The auto giant launched the new generation after five years of Honda Civic 10th generation. The Sedan was first revealed in US on 28th April 2021. After that the company introduced it in North America on 23rd June 2021 The 11th Generation is already for sales in the US and Canada since June 2021, while more recently, on August 6th, 2021, the new Civic sedan model was launched in Thailand.

The Honda Civic 11th generation is launched in both sedan and hatchback category depending upon the regions and markets.

Honda City 11th Generation in Pakistan

According to exciting news and reports, the Honda Atlas Pakistan has imported first demo unit of Honda Civic 11th Generation in Pakistan from Thailand. The CBU unit was cleared by HACPL/ Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited at Karachi port on May 10th, 2021.

We see the 11th-gen Civic in Pakistan soon as compared to previous generations. The 11th Gen Civic uses a similar platform to the 10th Gen Civic, but needs some additions to the assembly line. The new "brazing" techniques are required for assembly line to weld the new Civic roofs, which now use aluminum and require a more sophisticated method and equipment.

The shipment of Civic affected badly due to global chip shortage, and that means that in Pakistan, we probably don't have fast CKD kits for local assembly.

Expected Engine for Pakistan

The 11th gen Civic is only available in Thailand with the 1.5L turbo engine, and the famous R18 / 1.8L engine [was available on the Civic X] is dead and no more options on the sedan. If so, there is a good chance that the Civic will be offered to Pakistan with a single engine option, 1.5T.

Still, there's a chance we might see the natural 1.8L aspirations in the Pakistani version of our Civic, and if Atlas plans to do so, it will take longer to launch the local model. The Civic has yet to launch in several ASEAN countries and we will know that the 1.5T is the only engine option.

We can easily say that we are at least 6-8 months old o r could be more at the launch of the next generation Honda Civic in Pakistan. It is important to note that the Civic X was launched in Pakistan within nine months of its global launch in the United States, four months after its launch in Thailand, three months after its launch in Indonesia and one month after its launch in Malaysia.

So far, the 11th General Civic has only been launched in Thailand as far as our territory is concerned, and we can assume that Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia are once again ahead of us.

The Honda Atlas wouldn't want to mess with the new Civic the way it did in the 10th generation, and maybe this time it will take a little longer. I hope and wish we had a more stunning and well-built Civic this time around, and that the Honda Atlas doesn't disappoint us with the 11th generation. They need to know and be fully aware that the market is now very crowded and buyers have different options available in the market.













Honda Civic 11th Generation Price

According to some experts, the new Honda Civic will cost more than Rs 5 million. However, the company has not revealed the price yet. It will be before time to assume the price.
