Honda Teases All-New Amaze Sedan for December Launch
Honda Cars India has announced the upcoming third-generation Amaze sedan, with an official launch date set for December 4, 2024. This refreshed model is designed to enhance both style and comfort, featuring a modernized aesthetic and a host of advanced features. Honda’s goal is to deliver a refined experience for drivers seeking sophistication in a compact sedan.
Sleek Exterior Inspired by Honda City
The new Honda Amaze exterior takes design cues from the Honda City, giving it a more upscale appearance. Up front, a near-vertical hexagonal grille is complemented by sleek LED headlamps, adding a sense of sharpness. A pronounced shoulder line extends along the sides, leading to the rear, where wraparound taillights with unique S-shaped LED patterns enhance the car's elegance. Additional exterior details like the shark-fin antenna and dual-tone alloy wheels complete its sophisticated look.
Upgraded Interior with Modern Touches
Inside, Honda has introduced a two-tone interior with a horizontal dashboard design, echoing the layout seen in the Honda Elevate. At the center of the dashboard, a freestanding touchscreen offers easy access to infotainment features, flanked by rectangular AC vents and a streamlined climate control panel. The cabin’s beige upholstery, along with a new three-spoke steering wheel and semi-digital instrument cluster, contribute to a warm, premium atmosphere.
Enhanced Connectivity and Convenience
The new Honda Amaze caters to modern connectivity needs with Type-C charging ports, a wireless charging pad, and additional cup holders in the center console, along with a 12V power outlet. Added conveniences include automatic climate control and cruise control, aimed at making each drive more comfortable. An Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is expected, bringing a range of safety features that will position the Amaze as a tech-forward choice in its category.
Reliable Performance with Familiar Powertrain
Under the hood, the third-generation Amaze is likely to retain its trusted 1.2-liter petrol engine, available with both a 5-speed manual and a CVT transmission. This tried-and-true engine is known for delivering a smooth and efficient performance, ensuring that the new Amaze balances style and functionality for the modern driver. With these updates, Honda aims to set a new standard in the compact sedan segment.
