Amid much anticipation, spy shots of the highly awaited AITO EH3 electric sedan from Chery and Huawei have surfaced, causing a buzz on the internet. The latest images not only showcase intricate design elements but also reveal the inclusion of a LiDAR sensor on the roof and a stunning large floating screen on the dashboard.

Media reports have disclosed that this electric vehicle (EV) boasts an impressive 700-km range on a single charge, a feat achieved through the collaboration of the cutting-edge CATL battery and Chery’s E0X platform.

Huawei's Growing Presence in the Chinese Market

Huawei is rapidly expanding its presence in the Chinese automobile market. Recently, it introduced AITO in partnership with Dongfeng Motor’s subsidiary, Seres. Additionally, Huawei is collaborating with Changan and CATL on Avatr EVs while also supplying chips, OS, sensors, and motors to ArcFox (BAIC). Named the EH3, Huawei-Chery’s AITO car reveals striking design elements in the latest spy shots, including thin triangular headlights, a sleekly slanted bonnet line, and a distinctive taillight unit. The overall exterior appearance bears a resemblance to Xiaomi’s upcoming EV. The EH3's large five-spoke wheels and aerodynamic shape add to its stylish and functional appeal. Additionally, the roof-mounted LiDAR sensor enhances its advanced features, while the front fenders house Huawei ADS sensors.

Elegant and Spacious Interior with Cutting-Edge Technology

Inside the AITO EH3, occupants will enjoy a spacious environment adorned with a sizable floating screen, slim instrument panel, and compact steering wheel. The steering column accommodates the gear shifter, while the central console boasts two wireless charging stations, two cup holders, and ample storage space. For enhanced safety, the driver-side front pillar features a Face ID sensor.

Powerful Performance and Fast Charging

Underpinning the AITO EH3 is Chery’s E0X platform, while CATL supplies a Qilin ternary (NMC) battery with an impressive claimed range of 700 kilometers. The EV also supports 800V charging, enabling a remarkable 150 kilometers of range to be achieved in just five minutes of charging. With a notable 23 speakers, Huawei autonomous driving technology, 8295 Qualcomm CPUs, and a powerful battery, the exact details of the powertrain remain undisclosed. However, reports suggest that the EH3 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in an astonishing 3 seconds.
