Huawei debuts the Luxury Stelato S9 Electric Sedan

Huawei has officially stepped into the luxury electric vehicle market with its debut sedan, the Stelato S9. This premium vehicle, developed in collaboration with BAIC Group, a Beijing-based automaker, aims to capture a significant share of China's rapidly expanding EV market.

Stelato S9 Variants and Pricing

The Stelato S9 comes in two variants: the Max and the Ultra. The Max version starts at RMB 399,800 (€51,900), while the Ultra is priced at RMB 449,800 (€58,300). These options offer customers a choice based on their needs and preferences.

Impressive Range and Fast Charging

Both variants feature a robust 100 kWh battery, with the Max variant delivering a range of up to 816 km and the Ultra offering up to 721 km, as per CLTC testing. The Stelato S9 supports rapid charging, allowing a 30-80% charge in just 15 minutes.

Advanced Technology and Comfort

Huawei has integrated its Advanced Driving System 3.0 (ADS 3.0) into the Stelato S9, enhancing driving safety with its intelligent assisted driving features and CAS 3.0 collision avoidance system. The Ultra variant also boasts zero-gravity seats and a 32-inch projection screen for a premium in-car entertainment experience.

Dimensions and Ambitions

Measuring 5,160 mm in length with a 3,050 mm wheelbase, the Huawei Stelato S9 is larger than some of its key competitors. With this launch, Huawei is clearly signaling its ambition to become a major player in the electric vehicle market, broadening its reach into the automotive sector.
