Huawei Introduces World’s First Digital Car Key

In collaboration with Seres, a sub brand of Chongqing Sokon Industry Group, the Chinese tech giant Huawei launched its second electric hybrid SUV called AITO M5. The Huawei smart car was launched in the Huawei’s flagship winter launch event on 23rd December 2021 along with the launch of its most anticipated premium flip smartphone Huawei P50 Pocket.

No doubt, Huawei has taken a bold step to enter the Electric Vehicles EV market of china with a launch of its smart hybrid SUV by AITO (Adding Intelligence To Auto), the AITO M5.

The Luxury SUV by Huawei comes in an attractive and sleek design basically production is made with a special influence of Porsche Macan. The Huawei Hybrid SUV comes with a huge boot capacity and spacious seating.

The most interesting aspect in the Huawei car is that it is offered with Huawei’s HarmonyOS. As the OS offers a smooth and user friendly interface and best usage experience in the products under Huawei brand including smartwatches, smartphones, laptops and now in the smart cars by Huawei.

Huawei’s Smart Key For AITO M5

For now, the big news is that Huawei has moved a step ahead in terms its Hybrid car technology and has developed an World’s first digital car key for its SUV AITO M5. The Smart Key for Smart SUV comes with a support of BlueTooth and NFC making it more amazing and usable. Huawei Smart Car Division and Senior Vice President Yu Chengdong have officially revealed it.

According to CEO Huawei Smart Car Division, the HarmonyOS supports smartphones and come with digital smart keys in the Huawe Wallet Application. Like a physical car key, the digital keys developed by Huawei will be capable of doing everything. So the tension to lose and search the car keys in emergency is now gone thanks to the Huawei’s efforts of introducing a most amazing and interesting smart keys for cars.

Now, the question arises, how the smart key will work?

As mentioned above that Huawei Digital Keys come with NFC and BlueTooth technology so to lock and unlock a car, the BlueTooth technology is used. If the phones battery is off or unavailability of BlueTooth in any case then NFC will work to do all.

For now, only Huawei phones come with the digital car key based on harmonyOS. The company also plans to provide this facility to Huawei Watch 3 so that drivers can unlock their cars without smartphones.
