Hyundai Elentra 1.6L Launch Date Announced

The Hyundai Nishat Motors is set to launch the 1.6L Hyundai Elantra as the company has already offered the 2.0L Hyundai Elantra GLS and now the new comer is going to be a lower variant of Hyundai Elantra GLS 2.0L. Now, the question is that when the Elantra is coming to market. The Hyundai Pakistan has announced to launch the new Hynundai Elantra in Pakistan very soon. According to reports, the company is brining the new car before eid means that the car will make its entry in the last week of April 2022.

Features of 1.6L Elantra

The new variant of Hyundai Elantra will be different in terms of internals; the company has not yet revealed the detailed specs of 1.6L Hyundai Elantra. The design and look of the new variant will be same to the ongoing model, the 2.0L Elantra in Pakistan. The cabin will have few changes in infotainment and the instrument cluster.

The company has not revealed anything officially about the features and specs of upcoming variant of Elantra. The complete details will be revealed on the official launch time.

Expected Price

Being a low variant, the Hyundai Elantra 1.6L Price will be less as compared to the already launched upper variant, the Hyundai Elantra 2.0L GLS. The price of Hyundai Elantra 1.6L is expected to be same as of 1.6L Corolla Altis which is 40 lac Rupees.

The Hyundai launched its first sedan Elantra in the C-segment last year in March 2021. The company sold the 2,784 units of Elantra in a year according to the Car Sales Report by Pakistan Automotive Manufactures Association PAMA. The company sold the 46 units to 312 units of Elantra from March 2021 to February 2022. Hence the Hyundai Cars Sales increased by 578% in just a year.

The sales of Hyundai Elantra could be more even if the sedan launched with multiple variant options for customers to choose according to their demand. The company only provided a single 2.0L Hyundai Elantra GLS variant against 1.6L, 1.8L Corolla, and 1.5L, 1.8L Civic variants for a year. Then, the Hyundai is finally brining another variant of Hyundai Elantra.
