Hyundai Tucson Massive 369% Increase in Sales for Dec 2021

Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) has shared the latest vehicle sales figures to expose that there are many developments in the car sales during the month of December 2021. Hyundai Tucson has increased its sale of cars and this sale has the month-on-month (MOM) growth of 370 percent, which has outsold Elantra and Sonata. The sale of Tucson is reached to 230 units in December 2021, which is the best sale by Hyundai Nishat but the sale of Sonata and Elantra was dropped as both the vehicles has the sale volume of 169 and 228 units respectively. Sonata was the best-seller of Hyundai previously and it sold 250 units during the months of October and November. The customers can view Hyundai Tucson massive 369% increase in sales for December 2021.

Tucson is the compact crossover SUV and it has strong competitors of Kia Sportage, MG HS and other CUVs and this vehicle was introduced in Pakistan in mid 2020. This vehicle has the naturally aspirated 2.0 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine and this vehicle has maximum of 155 horsepower and 196 Nm of torque. This vehicle is launched in the market with 6-speed automatic transmission and this engine sends power to all four wheels.

This vehicle has several modern features, which are including backup camera, electronic parking brakes, modern infotainment system, electronic stability control, parking sensors, hit-start assist, powered seats, cool-box and panoramic sunroofs. The price of this vehicle is starting from Rs.5,179,000 and it is provided among very expensive mid-range SUVs in Pakistan.

Reason for the Rise in Sales

The car industry has the consistent and ever-increasing rise in demand of the vehicles during past few years. There are many reasons of the increase in demand, which are lowered interest rates on car finance, arrival of various other new cars and temporary price decrease of many cars.

The experts of the industry have the opinion that due to increase in price of various vehicles, the demand is decreased in the coming days. The government and State Bank of Pakistan are making plans to reduce the import bill. There are different possible developments, it will be interesting to watch the pace of the auto industry.
