Increasing Complaints About Proton X70 SUV Delivery Issues

An anonymous customer reached out to the Ministry of Industries and Production (MoIP) with a formal complaint about Proton. This individual also took legal action against Proton's official dealership, claiming a lack of response to the issue shared by many customers.

In the past week, more customers found with similar problems. One customer's booking dates back to August 12, 2021, with full payment made by December 2022. However, the vehicle's delivery remains pending, causing frustration.

Another customer expressed severe mental distress due to the same matter, with neither the company nor the dealership offering any relief.

Numerous customers have also encountered challenges with refunding their booking amounts. A customer reported that his refund cheque bounced twice last year and plans to file a formal complaint (FIR) against the company if it happens again in late August 2023.

Despite the collective concerns raised, Al-Haj Proton has not issued any response or statement. Customers have also sought government involvement, but authorities have not addressed the issue thus far.
