Kia EV3 2025 Features and Interior Design Review

The Kia EV3 is a compact SUV, similar in style to the larger Kia EV9, but smaller and more practical for everyday use compared to the EV6. Slotting perfectly into the highly competitive compact SUV market, the EV3 is designed for those looking for a smart, stylish vehicle with advanced technology. Kia emphasizes that the EV3 focuses on practicality and range, rather than performance, which makes it accessible and appealing to a wide range of buyers.

Technology and Comfort Features
At launch, the Kia EV3 is offered with front-wheel drive, with plans for a dual-motor AWD version later on. It shares several high-tech features from the larger Kia EV9, including a well-equipped cabin with options for heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel, and a sliding center console that doubles as a table. The interior is designed with sustainability in mind, using 100% animal-free materials, and offers a spacious, airy feel.

Battery Options and Range
The Kia EV3 comes with two battery options: a 58.3 kWh battery providing 414 km of range, or an 81.4 kWh battery offering up to 563 km of range (WLTP). Both options feature a 150 kW motor delivering 204 horsepower, allowing the EV3 to reach 0-100 km/h in around 7.5 seconds. Charging is efficient, with the ability to reach 10-80% in just 33 minutes using a 135 kW CCS charger.

Practicality and Spacious Interior
Despite its compact size, the EV3 offers excellent practicality with a 460-liter trunk and an additional 25-liter frunk. The boxy shape of the EV3 provides ample headroom and a wide trunk opening, making it more functional than many other compact SUVs. The interior is well-thought-out, with clever placement of USB-C ports and a spacious layout that enhances convenience for passengers.

Trim Levels and Pricing
The Kia EV3 is available in three trims: Air, Earth, and GT-line. The Air trim, starting at €36,000, offers basic features, while the mid-range Earth trim (€38,000) adds advanced safety features and heated seats. The top-tier GT-line, priced at €49,000, includes premium features like a Harmon Kardon audio system and a heat pump, making it the best choice for those seeking extra comfort and style.
