Lahore Gets 300 Hybrid Buses & Various Bus Stops

The Chief Minister of Punjab has made an announcement that 300 hybrid buses will be provided to Lahore city, which will be part of the first phase of the new bus service launch. The viewers can get the news that Lahore Gets 300 Hybrid Buses & Various Bus Stops.

Ch. Pervaiz Ellahi announced that there will be 200 new city bus stops in different parts of the city. Punjab Mass transit Authority will run about 513 hybrid buses in the city, which will be run through private operators. In this hybrid bus, there will be a dedicated section for women, special persons, and for special needs and they will be provided seats near the entrance gate.

He conducted the meeting with MPA, the principal secretary to the CM, Secretaries of Finance and Transport, PMA senior officers, and other relevant officials. He also accorded the restoration and activation of the Punjab Transport Company. The CM also accorded the principle approval to run the electric buses in Lahore and he issued orders to procure more buses for a separate feeder route project.

He ordered additional bus stops in Lahore with routes so the operating times of the transport will be compliant with the educational institute timings. The CM has accorded the approval for the establishment of PMA offices in Dera Gujran and for this purpose, the bidding policy is accorded.
