Great Wall Motors has been gaining momentum with its range of compact, mid-size, and D-segment SUVs. Recently, news surfaced about the official announcement of the off-road SUV Haval Raptor Hi4 in August 2023. The Hi4 is praised for its blend of robust performance and luxurious comfort. Let's delve into its specifications and features.

Engine Specifications

The Haval Raptor Hi4 is equipped with a 1.5L plug-in-hybrid system comprising two powertrains. It boasts a front axle motor with 70kW and a rear axle motor with 150kW, delivering a combined maximum engine power of 120kW. Additionally, there's an alternative engine option featuring a 1.5T hybrid engine with an 80kW front axle motor and a 150kW rear axle motor, coupled with a 2-speed DH Transmission. Despite its power, the claimed cruising range stands at 105 kilometer.

Exterior Design

Sporting a retro-inspired appearance, the Hi4 showcases round headlights and square-shaped taillights for a distinctive classic aesthetic. Notable exterior features include roof racks, convertible door handles, and a commanding front grille adorned with the 'HAVAL' badge. With its rugged appeal and the inclusion of a rear spare wheel, this SUV exudes boldness and durability.

Interior Design

Inside, the Hi4 boasts a two-tone interior dominated by an ivory color scheme. While specific driving assistance features remain undisclosed, the emphasis on comfort and luxury is evident. The official dimensions are yet to be revealed, but drawing comparisons from the current model, the Hi4 is expected to offer ample cabin space and a high ground clearance, ideal for off-road adventures.

The Haval Raptor Hi4 is set to debut at the Beijing Auto Show later this month, with Haval's general manager Zhao Yongpo highlighting its design and optimization based on user feedback.
