Wagons have become a rare sight in the contemporary automotive landscape, but MG Motors has ushered in a new era by introducing the world's inaugural all-electric station wagon, the MG5 EV, in Pakistan. MG5 EV – An Overview

Globally available in two trim levels, SE and Trophy, the MG5 EV's SE variant has made its debut in Pakistan, targeting the discerning C-class consumer market. Positioned to compete with formidable rivals such as the KIA Sportage, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Seres 3, the MG5 EV has emerged as a robust all-electric option in the crossover segment.

Revamped Exterior Profile

Spanning 15 feet in length, the MG5 EV boasts a striking exterior design featuring a bold grille and a distinctive MG emblem on the hood. The radar is seamlessly integrated beneath the hood and complements the vehicle's adaptive LED headlights. The side profile exudes elegance with Bridgestone tires, unique aerodynamic wheel caps, retractable mirrors, rear brake light, spoiler, and a manual tailgate, contributing to its overall appeal.

Spacious MG5 Interior

Inside, the MG5 EV offers a surprisingly spacious cabin with ample legroom and a generous height. The dash is adorned in soft grey plastic, accented with aluminum elements and a distinctive blue line running throughout. With a sizable 439L boot capacity, accommodating multiple pieces of luggage is a breeze, thanks to manually adjustable seats. The MG5 provides the convenience of push start, a rotating dial gear with an electronic e-brake and parking button, a regenerative braking system, a rear camera, and three driving modes – ECO, Normal, and Sports.

Equipped with a range of features such as a 4-door auto mirror, armrest, and cup holders, the telescopic steering allows for personalized wheel adjustments to enhance driving comfort.

Pricing in Pakistan

The MG5 EV is available in Pakistan at a price of Rs. 13,500,000, with a delivery timeline ranging from 90 to 120 days.
