Mercedes 1000HP Project One Hypercar

Mercedes Benz has the unprecedented reputation and the German manufacturer has attributes of cars, which has become the world class standard like the airbags and seat belts. There are some of the vehicles like SLR Mclaren, SLS AMG and the AMG GT. When the Frankfurt Motor show was conducted then Mercedes took the wrap of the very first hypercar, Mercedes AMP Project One.

Mercedes Benz AMG project One is the formula one car for road and it is not hard to see the subtle resemblances between Project One and current Mercedes formula one car. The front end of the car is Project one and it is meeting the most controversy and people are not sure as it is aggressive as 1000 bhp record shattering hypercar. The design element of the car is decided by the company to go with and in the pursuit of superior aerodynamics. Overall silhouette of the car is like the F1 car with sharp declines and elongated slanting curves. When you watch at the rear end, Project One comes added with massive roof scoop to look like large shark fin and it will not help in aiding the airflow to the engine. The rear end of the vehicle is houses with larger rear spoiler, larger central circular exhaust and massive diffuser.

When you look at the car, it is 1000 bhp headlining power and you expect there to be huge V12 engine o r at least massive upgraded versions of Mercedes bi turbo V8 and they use in most of their AMG products. It is added with mid engine configuration, which is 1.6 liter V6 turbo hybrid F1 engine to revs the way to 11,000 rpm. The vehicle, Porsche GT3 is one of the highest revving cars and you can buy it today and power output exceeds the 1000 bhp and top speed is beyond 350 kph.

The company has not released the performance figures and it is confident that Project One will be able to accelerate from standstill to all way till 124 rpm in under six seconds. Mercedes claims that Project One can be easily driven on streets in day to day conditions. The hypercar comes with EV mode in which Project One becomes from wheel drive and runs on the electric power. When you step into the interior, you will find pair of dual ten inch screens and it appears to have been taken straight out S-class and F1 inspire rectangular steering wheel, dock of four smart phones and carbon seats.
