After its successful debut in the UK, the MG Cyberster two-door electric roadster is now ready for orders in China. The vehicle is offered in three distinct trim levels, and interested buyers can reserve their MG for a deposit of 10,000 yuan ($1,370). Deliveries are slated to commence by the year-end, and early reservations come with exclusive privileges. Moreover, the expansion of deliveries to other countries is on the horizon, with the first shipments scheduled for 2024.

Inspired by the Classic MGB Roadster

The sleek design of the MG Cyberster Car Price 2024 draws inspiration from the iconic MGB roadster, which was produced from 1962 to 1980. Notable styling elements include teardrop-shaped LED headlamps, sporty bumpers, scissor doors, and a swift-folding roof. This electric roadster features a soft top constructed from three layers of fabric, capable of retracting or deploying within just 8 seconds, even while driving at speeds up to 50 km/h. At the rear, a single taillight unit and LED components inspired by the Union Jack pay homage to the brand's British heritage.

Futuristic Interior Design and Functionality

Inside the MG Cyberster, a futuristic dashboard showcases a curved cluster with three screens situated behind the D-shaped multifunction steering wheel. Additionally, a vertical screen is centrally positioned in the tunnel. Surprisingly, the Cyberster incorporates shift paddles, a rarity in electric vehicles, to enable quick switching between driving modes. Despite its sporty exterior, the Cyberster is a two-door, two-seater car with Alcantara leather-wrapped seats.

Performance Enhanced by F1 Influence

MG Cars 2023 has fine-tuned the Cyberster's suspension system with input from Formula 1 drivers. The vehicle boasts a multi-link independent suspension in the rear and a double-wishbone suspension in the front axle. The base model features a single 314-horsepower electric motor mounted on the rear axle. In contrast, the all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant combines a 340-hp rear motor with a 204-hp front motor. This configuration results in a formidable total power output of 544 hp, enabling the Cyberster to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds.

Pricing Details

While the official pricing for the MG Cyberster Price has not been formally disclosed, unofficial sources suggest that the base model will start at 239,800 yuan ($33,000) in China. In the UK market, the Cyberster is expected to retail for 55,000 GBP ($69,300), according to British media reports.
