MG Is Expected To Bring MG 5 Sedan In Pakistan
Morris Garages MG, after launching its much anticipated SUVs in the automotive industry of Pakistan is planning to launch its MG 5 sedan in the local market. Recently, key stakeholder of MG Pakistan, Javed Afridi teased some images of the sedan on his Facebook post.
The MG 5 sedan 2021 is an in between combination of the compact and sub compact sedan and placed in the D-segment of the sedan lineup. This shows that it will be a direct competitor for its both rivals Toyota Yaris and Toyota Corolla.
The MG 5 2021 sedan is much similar to European cars, 2020 Fiat Tipo and 2018 Ford Focus. The sedan gives a outstanding and stunning appearance.
Internationally, the MG 5 is installed with two 1.5 liter SAIC four cylinder engines. One is a naturally aspirated variant that makes 119 hp, while the other one is the turbocharged variant that makes 173 hp. The naturally aspirated engine can be mated to either a 5-speed manual o r a 4-speed automatic, while the turbocharged variant can be mated to either the same manual o r a 6-speed automatic gearbox. MG is also planning to assemble the electric variant of the sedan.
The price of the car is not revealed yet for the Pakistani variant. It is expected to come at the price tag at which Toyota Corolla and the Honda Civic are sold in Pakistani auto market.
