MG Motors Is Likely To Provide Two More Cars To Pakistani

The MG Motors has already unveiled its MG HS SUV in the Pakistani Auto Market. Currently the booking of the SUVs in Pakistan is ongoing. According to latest news and reports, after a remarkable success the automaker decided to give to more exciting vehicles to the Pakistani auto market.



The owner of the JW Park Motors and MG Motors Pakistan, Javed Afridi said while talking to media that the automaker has decided to provide two more vehicles the first vehicle is midsized SUV RX8 and the second is Extender crew-cabin Pick Truck. Before this the Afridi shared a video and pictures of MG RX8 SUV and MG 6 sedan on his social media.



The MG RX8 is a Four Wheels Drive FWD family SUV comes in midsize and 7 seater. It is housed with a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces 224 hp and 360 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is yet to be confirmed which variant of the MG RX8 will be unveiled in Pakistan. At international market it will compete with the Hyundai Santa Fe, Mazda CX-9 SUV, Kia Sorento and the Toyota Fortuner.



The MG Extender is a pickup truck which has underpinnings mostly 75 percent like MG Gloster. It is a midsized sports pickup. The international variant of this pickup truck would be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 161 hp and 375 Nm of torque. It comes with two drivertrains options, a 6-speed manual that only powers the rear wheels and the second one is All Wheel Drive AWD 6 speed automatic. It is yet to be confirmed whether which variant to come in Pakistan. The MG Extender is set to compete with the upcoming Volkswagen Amarok, Toyota Hilux and the Isuzu D-Max in the Pakistani auto industry.
