Minor Update for Kia Sportage Limited Edition in Pakistan

Kia Pakistan has introduced a minor refresh for its crossover SUV, the Kia Sportage, with a specific focus. The update, announced on social media, is exclusive to a special edition model. The company revealed a striking new look for the Kia Sportage Limited Edition with a distinct new emblem. This new emblem will be unique to the limited white edition, not appearing on other models or variants of the Sportage.

Limited Edition Details

The social media post clarified, “Sportage Limited Edition comes with a distinctive new emblem.” Despite this being a minor update, it is noteworthy that the company has not increased the vehicle's price with the introduction of this “striking new look.” Recently, this new edition was seen being transported to Kia dealerships on a carrier.

Kia Sportage Limited Edition Features

Launched in November 2023, the Kia Sportage Limited Edition, known as “Clear White,” features a black front grille, lower grille, side skirts, fog lamps, and the new emblem. Our first-look review covered detailed changes in both the exterior and interior of this version.

Exterior Enhancements

The front of the Sportage Limited Edition retains the same fog lights, halogen lights, projection lamps, DRLs, and LED indicators. However, a black trim now accents the bumper. The Kia badge is now black with a slightly modified front grille, complemented by a black chrome finish, and the old plastic front spoiler has been upgraded to gloss black.

Enhanced Wheels and Sleek Design

The Sportage Limited Edition features stylish black alloy wheels with a 19-inch rim, fitted with KUMHO tires sized 245/45/R19. In contrast, the standard Sportage comes with 18-inch rims and 225/55/R18 tires. The wider tires contribute to a more assertive and robust stance for the SUV. Additionally, the window garnish and door guards, which were previously plastic, have been upgraded to a gloss black finish, adding a touch of sophistication to the vehicle's overall design.

Rear Profile Adjustments

The rear of the limited edition features minor changes, such as the black Kia logo and Sportage AWD badging. Other plastic and chrome elements have been converted to gloss black, giving a different dimension to the new white edition, more pronounced than in the black edition.

Interior Updates

Inside, the previously beige interior has been replaced with a gloss black theme. The upholstery and leather door panel padding align with this darker aesthetic. However, the roof liner and panoramic roof remain unchanged. Despite the extensive black theme, the silver garnish on the console, infotainment system, and cup holders has been retained, which somewhat disrupts the overall look.

Safety and Technology Features

The safety and technology features remain the same, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Electronic Parking Brake, Parking Sensors, Downhill Assist, Auto Hold, Diff Lock, Drive Modes, and Cruise Control. Rear AC vents are standard across all variants, along with unchanged charging ports, USB inlets, and 12V ports. Unfortunately, a wireless charging spot is still absent.
