New Govt Offers Fuel Subsidy to Bikes Not Cars
The Minister of Finance, Miftah Ismail said that the government will make the new policy to review the prices of petroleum. He said that the government is going to offer the subsidy on the petrol price only to the motorcycles and this offer is not for the big car owners.
The minister briefed media that their coalition government will improve the administration system in coming few months. According to the directives of the Prime Minister, the new govt offers fuel subsidy to bikes not cars, so that the government will alleviate the economic pressure.
The finance minister also said that their new government will collect more taxes as compared to the previous government and they will not charge more new taxes on the public. The previous government put the people under great pressure by implementing new taxes and now this new government will seek to address this situation on the urgent basis.
Miftah also said that their government will not increase the price of the fuel immediately. It was also reported that long queues of trucks were witnessed on several petrol pumps as the diesel shortage was reported there. Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) claimed that all these reports are false as some of the petrol pumps are creating the artificial shortage of the diesel.

I am a student in Gujranwala, pursuing BS Data Science at a private university. I use my pocket money to fuel my motorcycle, and my daily allowance is 300 rupees. Out of this, 200 rupees are allocated for fuel, and the remaining 100 rupees cover my lunch expenses. I was delighted to hear about the governments offer, and I would like to humbly request a fuel subsidy for my bike. The university operates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Thank you!
