Nissan Unveils 2024 Sunny Refresh in the Middle East
Nissan has officially launched the 2024 Sunny sedan in the Middle East, following its introduction in various markets under different names such as Versa and Almera. This revamped model introduces a host of aesthetic and technological improvements, enhancing its appeal to customers in the region.
Aesthetic Enhancements
The 2024 Sunny features several visual upgrades, including a redesigned front fascia with an updated V-motion grille, new Nissan brand logos, and a fresh 17-inch alloy wheel design. These changes give the car a modern and stylish look, while the rear end maintains its classic design.
Enhanced Interior Comfort
Inside the cabin, Nissan has elevated the 2024 Sunny's interior with the introduction of Zero-gravity front seats, a segment-first feature. The seats and steering wheel are adorned with leather upholstery, and the interior boasts high-quality textures. Furthermore, automatic climate control and armrests for both front and rear passengers provide added comfort and convenience.
Advanced Nissan Intelligent Mobility Features
The 2024 Sunny is available in five variants (S, SV, SV+, SL, and SL+), each equipped with innovative Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) features. Notable among these is the Nissan Safety Shield® 360, providing comprehensive protection through features like Intelligent Emergency Braking, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Driver Alertness, Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Additional Convenience Features
Nissan has also incorporated rear parking sensors and rear seat alerts for enhanced safety. The 2024 Sunny includes a range of convenience features, such as standard cruise control, a wireless charger, a USB-C charging port, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Hill Start Assist, an available Intelligent Key, and electronically adjustable side-view mirrors with turn indicators.
Efficient Performance
Under the hood, the Middle Eastern version of the Sunny continues to be powered by a 1.6L DOHC 4-cylinder engine, delivering 118 horsepower and 149 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an Xtronic CVT gearbox, providing a combined city and highway fuel efficiency rating of 19.1 km per liter.
