Notification Crackdown Against Heavy Bikes

Fanatical heavy motor bikers will be more cautious and watchful, when they enjoy with the speedy riders on the roads of Lahore. The notification has been issued on 13 February and it is stated by the Deputy IG Police Lahore that the unregistered heavy motor bikers will be communicated to the motor registration authority to take strict action against the riders, who ride on the heavy motor bikes recklessly on the roads. It is also stated that reckless driving of the heavy motor bikes can endanger the lives of the biker and the pedestrians and the riders found responsible for the reckless driving of the heavy motor bikes, will face the lawsuit under the section of 279 PPC.

DIG Police Lahore said that it is observed that there are different unregistered heavy motor bikes, which violate the traffic rules in the cantonment areas in Lahore. To curb this menace of neglecting the traffic rules, military police has been requested to provide all necessary instructions to the field staff of their police squad to carry out the checking of the heavy motor bikes so that they can ensure the safety of the pedestrians.
