Suzuki Bikes New Prices
The new prices for the Suzuki bikes are as follows:
• Suzuki GD 110S: Previously priced at Rs. 290,000, now costs Rs. 322,000 after a price hike of Rs. 32,000.
• Suzuki GS 150: Previously priced at Rs. 315,000, now costs Rs. 350,000 after a price hike of Rs. 35,000.
• Suzuki GSX 125: Previously priced at Rs. 422,000, now costs Rs. 469,000 after a price hike of Rs. 47,000.
• Suzuki GR150: Previously priced at Rs. 451,000, now costs Rs. 501,000 after a price hike of Rs. 50,000.
According to the company, the retail prices are inclusive of the ex-factory product price and freight charges. These prices are subject to change without any notice and will be applicable at the time of delivery. Any government tax applicable will be charged to the customer.
The company has not provided any specific reasons for this latest hike, but it comes amidst an ongoing economic crisis in the country. Despite claims of complete localization, bike companies like Suzuki and Yamaha still import important parts like engines, which are directly linked to the forex exchange rate. Industry experts anticipate further price hikes in the future, which may have a negative impact on the sales of bikes.
