Pak Suzuki Terminates Contract with Daska Motors

In a recent development, Pak Suzuki has officially disassociated Daska Motors, located in Sialkot, from its list of authorized dealerships. This decision announced through Suzuki's official social media channels in Pakistan, is set to take effect on October 10, 2023. Surprisingly, the company did not provide any specific reasons for this termination.

Consequences of Termination

As per the notice issued by Pak Suzuki, Daska Motors will no longer have the authorization to engage in transactions related to Suzuki vehicles. This includes both the sale of Suzuki vehicles and the acceptance of payments for them. Furthermore, any violations or unauthorized activities by Daska Motors will be solely their responsibility. In light of this development, Pak Suzuki has advised the public against engaging with this former dealership for any purpose, be it booking vehicles or seeking after-sales services.

Recent Developments in the Automotive Industry

The termination of contracts between automotive manufacturers and dealerships is not unique to Pak Suzuki. In a similar vein, Honda recently terminated its contract with one of its dealerships in Rawalpindi Here. Conversely, Proton, a Malaysian automaker, faced disassociation from four of its dealerships, all of which had been operating under its local partner, Al-Haj Automotive.

This disassociation came about due to issues related to miscommitments and the failure to deliver vehicles as promised. Such developments within the automotive industry underscore the importance of maintaining strong and accountable relationships between manufacturers and their authorized dealerships.
