Pak Suzuki's Exclusive Offer on the All-New Swift

As 2023, arguably one of the toughest years for Pakistan's auto industry fades into the past, the Local Car Manufacturers are determined to chart a new course in 2024. Recognizing the need to reverse the downward trend in sales and production, these companies are actively working to extricate themselves from the challenging situation they found themselves in.

Offers and Incentives

In a bid to kickstart the recovery process, prominent car manufacturers initiated a series of strategic moves, with Kia Lucky Motors and Toyota Indus Motors (IMC) leading the way. Joining the initiative, Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) recently unveiled a purchase bonus offer of Rs. 100,000 on their all-new Swift model.



A Closer Look at PSMC's Performance

However, a closer examination of PSMC's recent performance reveals distressing results. The company experienced a staggering 70% decline in sales, signaling a significant setback. Notably, Pak Suzuki reported substantial losses, leading to the company's decision to delist from the stock exchange. The rationale behind this move was rooted in the lackluster market valuation and the burden of complying with various regulations, all while struggling to attain the desired price in the market.

In the face of these challenges, Pakistan's auto industry now stands at a critical juncture, and the first half of 2024 will be pivotal in determining whether the industry can successfully navigate these turbulent waters and regain its footing.
