Pakistan Launches MG5 EV: Features, Price, Booking Details

MG Pakistan has recently launched its latest electric vehicle, the MG5 EV, marking a shift in its future lineup. Although the company had initially showcased the gasoline-powered MG5 as part of its upcoming offerings, there has been no further update on that model. Turning our attention to the electric variant, sources from the company informed us that the MG5 EV was unveiled in mid-December 2023 with a specific focus on market research and limited units catering to fleet business needs. Currently, only a restricted number of completely built-up (CBU) units are available for sale.

Powerful MG5 EV

The MG5 EV, officially named MG4 SW EV Long Range, takes the form of a station wagon and is currently on display at the MG Lounge in Lahore. Highlighting its key specifications, the electric car is equipped with a 61kW battery, offering an impressive range of 400 kilometers per charge. Additionally, the company is introducing the SE variant of the vehicle in the Pakistani market.
