Peugeot e-3008 & e-5008 Launch with 700 km Range

Peugeot has unveiled two new additions to its electric vehicle (EV) lineup, the e-3008 and e-5008 Long Range models. These electric SUVs offer impressive driving ranges of 700 km and 668 km, respectively, positioning them as the longest-range vehicles in Peugeot’s portfolio. With these new models, Peugeot aims to strengthen its presence in the EV market by offering vehicles that combine sustainability with exceptional range performance.

Debut at 2024 Paris Motor Show

The e-3008 and e-5008 Long Range models will be showcased at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, giving potential buyers the first opportunity to see and experience the vehicles in person. Both models come equipped with "made in France" batteries, engineered to deliver outstanding performance while minimizing their environmental footprint. According to Peugeot, these electric SUVs represent the next step in their commitment to eco-friendly mobility.

Extended Range Leads the Market

The standout feature of both the e-3008 and e-5008 is their extended driving range, which surpasses most SUVs currently on the market. The new 230 hp/170 kW electric motor ensures these models deliver enhanced efficiency and power. Alongside this new motor, Peugeot continues to offer a 210 hp/157 kW option. Furthermore, a newly introduced battery pre-conditioning system improves charging efficiency, making long journeys more convenient for drivers.

Fast Charging and Spacious Design

The e-3008 boasts a 96.9 kWh usable battery capacity, enabling fast charging with up to 160 kW DC power. This allows the vehicle to go from 20% to 80% charge in just 27 minutes, or add 150 km of range in only 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the e-5008, with its seven-passenger capacity, offers a slightly lower range of 668 km, making it ideal for larger families or group travel. Despite its size, it matches the fast-charging capabilities of the e-3008.

Pricing and Warranty

Peugeot offers comprehensive warranty coverage for both models under the Peugeot Allure Care program. The e-3008 and e-5008 come with an 8-year/160,000 km warranty, covering the motor, charger, and other key components. Additionally, the high-voltage battery has its own extended warranty. The e-3008 starts at just over €48,000, while the larger e-5008 begins at €50,160, hinting at the possibility of future Peugeot models surpassing the €60,000 price range.
