Peugeot Introduces Cutting-Edge e-3008 Electric SUV

Peugeot's latest offering, the e-3008, has officially debuted, ushering in a new era of electric mobility. This fully electric model comes in two trim variants, Allure and GT, and offers three distinct powertrain configurations to cater to a wide range of preferences and needs.

Powertrain Options:
  • 210 Horsepower Single-Motor (343 Nm Torque), Two-Wheel Drive, 525 km Range: The e-3008's base configuration provides a balance of power and efficiency, making it an excellent choice for urban and suburban driving.
  • 230 Horsepower Single-Motor (343 Nm Torque), Two-Wheel Drive, 700 km Range: This variant offers an impressive driving range, making it ideal for long journeys and adventures.
  • 320 Horsepower Dual-Motor, All-Wheel Drive, 525 km Range: For those seeking enhanced performance and all-terrain capability, the dual-motor configuration delivers a thrilling driving experience.
The e-3008 boasts a sleek design with a drag coefficient of 0.28. Its distinctive front-end treatment features a unique merging of the grille and headlamps from the outer edges, emphasizing the signature three-claw headlamp design.

The fastback roofline and "floating" spoiler give the e-3008 a more streamlined appearance compared to the traditional 3008 SUV. The full-width tail lamp assembly mirrors the three-claw pattern found in the headlamps, adding to its visual appeal. Wheel options are available in either 19-inch or 20-inch configurations.

Under the hood, the e-3008 utilizes the STLA platform, which houses a single-layer battery between its axles to lower the center of gravity, enhancing stability and handling.

All powertrain variants are equipped with two 400-volt nickel-manganese-cobalt batteries. The base and AWD variants feature a 73 kWh battery, delivering a range of up to 525 km on a single charge. The Long Range model, with 231 PS and 343 Nm of torque, boasts a remarkable 700 km range thanks to its 98 kWh battery pack.

Inside the e-3008, Peugeot's Panoramic i-Cockpit takes center stage, featuring a 21-inch curved touchscreen in the GT model, while Allure models offer two 10-inch displays integrated into a single panel with a consistent design. The dashboard features customizable touch-sensitive buttons for quick access to up to 10 favorite functions, such as navigation, phone calls, audio, and climate control.

Both Allure and GT variants feature synthetic leather-fabric upholstery, with the GT model also offering synthetic leather and Alcantara for added luxury.

The e-3008 comes equipped with the Drive Assist Plus suite, offering a range of advanced driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, and more.

The Peugeot e-3008 is set to hit the market in February 2024, with pricing details to be revealed on its official launch day. This innovative electric SUV promises a compelling blend of performance, range, and cutting-edge technology, making it a notable addition to the electric vehicle landscape.
