Prime Minister To Give Approval Of New Auto Policy
The Prime Minister of Pakistan is going to approve the New Auto Policy. According to details, in a recent Tweet, the government spokesperson and Special Assistant to PM on Political Communication, Dr. Shahbaz Gill has just confirmed this news.
In the Tweet SAPM quoted three main aims of the new auto policy:
1. To reduce car prices so middle class of the country can also buy them
2. To increase the local assembly/production of the cars
3. To enhance the export of cars
Gill said further:
“Khusro Bakhtiar, Hammad Azhar and their teams must be congratulated for their efforts,”
The Government is focusing in the nerw Auto Policy to promote the local assembling of the vehicles in the country and aims to install more assembling plants. Remember that some auto giants like Kia and MG Pakistan has already started the local assembling of their vehicles.
Moreover, the Government wants to provide the opportunities for middle class to buy vehicles according to their range and will bring mechanism to provide cheap vehicle. Finally, government wants to promote the export of vehicles, in this way the Pakistani automotive industry and economy of the country will grow.
