Proton Announced To Deliver Cars Soon

Production and sales of protons have resumed in Malaysia following the reduction in the rate of covid 19 cases in the country. As a result of this development, Al-Haj Proton announced via his social media account that he is working hard to ensure to deliver the cars to customers on time.

According to official statement issued via notice, the resumption of operations would not only allow the company to ensure the ease of importing CBUs but also allow it to go to the local assembly of its vehicles.

The company has repeatedly stated that its assembly plant in Pakistan will be completed soon. But the CKD operations would be late over the international crises of transportation due to current wave of COVID-19 across the globe.

It seems now is the time to work for Alhaj Proton to ensure a strong market presence as the company faces stiff competition due to BAIC's recent rise in the Pakistani automotive market.

BIACD20 sedan is expected to compete with the Proton in the A-segment sedan category, as the vehicle competes directly with the Proton Saga. As the horizon progresses, it will be interesting to see how Proton manages to gain more market share.
